Last Meeting Report: last meeting was on Saturday March 2,2013 in Evanston, Wyoming. It was the local Spice on Ice. We entered 2 chili's, green chili and red chili no beans. We set the booth up on the night before with the help of some friends and then got to start chopping and cooking Saturday morning. After the inspection with the food inspector and got the OK, the real cooking took off with a pinch of this and a lot of that. There was great fellowship with each other and a devotional brought from Chandler Bennett. Our local band played a lot of the oldies for us to enjoy as well. After the 4:00pm time line and chili collected for the judging. After the judging began the door's were opened to the public and the chili tasting began at each booth.Our booth was set up with the banners and a derrick and the three Bibles on display, English, Spanish and now the new Chinese. They attracted attention and gave us a opportunity to talk to a few. We handed out pens and bracelets we had made up with our name and Proverbs 27:17. They went over very well. We donated a nice basket for the raffle with a copy of the 3 beautiful Bibles, the pen's and bracelets, 2 hats, some stickers, a shirt embroidered with our logo and gift certificate at one of the very best restaurants in town and a couple of the new pen's for ministering to others. It was a hit. We all had a great time and the best part was not just reaching out to some folks but also we won First Place for the Red Chili No Beans. YEA and Praise God for His Hand.
