I thought you might enjoy reading some of the emails I get from people around the World.

Just wanted to let you know that I have distributed the Bibles to all of my rigs and some of my staff and they were very well received. Actually I was pleased with the positive response and wanted to thank you and your Ministries for a job well done. Since I last emailed you we have purchased two more drilling companies, (22 rigs), and I was wondering what I need to do to get three more boxes of Bibles so I can hand them out to those rigs.

A lady in Mississippi who runs a swabbing company emailed to say she works with some of the roughest people in the world. Men who wouldn't give a Bible a second look but will take one of the Oil Patch Bibles and they will take it with a smile on their faces.

Back in December I gave each of the workover rig crew a Spanish Bible during a period when we were waiting on something. They didn't speak much English so I didn't know if they really understood what I was trying to do. About 30 minutes later, one of the men came up to me and thanked me for the Bible. A few minutes after that another of the roughnecks came up and told me, in broken English, that he had been reading through the Bible I had just given him and that he had been trying to talk to his brother about Jesus, but he wouldn't listen to him. He said, "This Bible is exactly what he needs because it will speak to him.” I gave him a few more Bibles for his brother and other men he knew could use one.

I got a letter from a lady who said her husband had never had anything to do with church but she came home one day and there he was in his easy chair reading the Oil Patch Bible. She thanked us for the hope it gave her.

A lady from Michigan went to the Desk and Derrick convention in Oklahoma City where the leadership of the D&D club distributed the Bible to each attendee. Later that year she went on a mission trip to Kenya and took her Oil Patch Bible with her. While there, a man asked her for the Bible and she gave it to him. When she got back she emailed to say how powerfully this had affected her and asked for Bibles for everyone who worked in her office in Midland Michigan.

I went on a business trip to London last spring. On my way back I put my briefcase in the overhead bin, but before I did I pulled my Oil Patch Bible out and placed it in the seat pocket in front of me, with the pictures sticking out. In a few minutes I found out the man I sat next to was a geologist. After a few minutes of conversation he asked if this book was my oilfield directory. I was able to give him the Bible and witness to him. Seeds planted.

Hi everybody, I will share a very heart touching story of what happen the other day. What I saw with my own eyes was so very clear how the Hand of God works, his ways are so above ours. I was driving down the roadwhen clearly the Lord said goto Ford Brothers water hauling. But I didn't want to so I kept going. A second time the Lord spoke, and said go to Ford Bros, and this time I did.

When I pulled into their yard there was nobody home. As I started to leave, a fellow pulled up with his quad, 4x4. He cursed a flow offilthy words none stop. He tells me the owners would be back real soon. Each time I went to leave he begged me to stay. Finally I asked him, "if I were to give you a book will you read it?”

His response was yes. I had only one Bible left in my truck. I handed it to him. He stopped cursing with a halt. He looked at me and said that is the word of God!!! To which I said yes!!! "Do you want to read it?” I asked. He said I don't know how. I asked him, "do you want me to read to you?” He said,"please do.” I read John 3:16. PLEASE HEAR WHAT HAPPEN NEXT. The cursing had stopped and the man just fell apart. Thru his tears he cried out what must I do to be saved. He asked Jesus into his heart, he is free from drinking and back with his wife. He told me the other day that life has never been this good ever before. Let's Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

Yes, send me some Bibles in Spanish. I want to thank you for helping me to tell others about Jesus and what he did out of love for us. So many people just don't know about Jesus. I was saved when I was nine years old and I've been hiding it until recently and now I want more than ever to tell others what Jesus did for me and wants to do for them.

I am a drilling consultant and I recently became aware of OCF when a salesman left a Bible. That Bible was given to a driller who saw it on my desk. He said that two of his hands also wanted one. I would like to order a box of English and Spanish Bibles and help in the distribution both by paying for the Bibles and helping to get them out in the field. I appreciate the work that you are doing.

Things are beginning to really move up here with the Bibles. With the increased demand, I have a question for you guys down south, how much is the cost for each bible? If I can know the cost then we will be able to really get things moving up here. My Father took orders in his church in Northern Alberta for 72 Bibles and I am down to about 15 Bibles myself. God is seeming to really bless this ministry. Thank you once again for all of your help in this matter I hope to be writing you again in a week.

I have finally moved from my stationary platform and now have the opportunity to hand out more Bibles. I will be in Corpus for a few months and then Angola Africa for several months. What a great opportunity to share the gospel!

Would you please send another 100 Bibles. I would appreciate it. My church is giving me plain Bibles to hand out in Africa but I prefer the oilfield Bibles for the platforms.
