THE IADC HOUSTON CHAPTER 2ND ANNUAL OILFIELD CHARITY SHOOT WAS A HUGE SUCCESS
The Board of the OCF thanks the IADC and the committee members who put this prestigious event together and, once again, flawlessly executed a beautifully beneficial sporting clay event. The next IADC Houston Chapter meeting is scheduled for Tuesday May 15th where the OCF and the Oil Patch Chaplains will be presented checks from the funds raised at the tournament. 14th Annual Houston Chapter OCF Prayer Breakfast
The Houston OCF Chapter Prayer Breakfast was held on the second day of OTC on May 1, 2012 in the Crown Plaza Ballroom on Kirby Street. Our Keynote Speaker, Texon CEO Terry Looper delivered a powerful testimony of how God delivered him from workaholism and changed his life forever. Gordon Mote, noted pianist and singer with the Gaither's amazed the crowd with his piano playing and singing. Gordon, blind from birth, is one of the most sought after pianists in Nashville. He did not disappoint on Tuesday morning.

The Prayer Breakfast on May 1 takes the place of the May luncheon, so no First Wednesday meeting in Houston in May. Make your plans now to join the group at OCF of Houston's June meeting. YOUR OCF COOKING TEAM WINS THE FIN DIVISION AT THE AADE FUR, FIN, FEATHER FOOD FESTIVAL
The cooking team of Mike Chaffin, Jim Cook, Jay Sims, Pat Hudson, Doug Smith and Lee Canalito cooked up a great dish of Swampland Chili for the Soul. Jay secured the alligator meat and Mike brought the recipe and everyone chipped in to make an Chili that had people asking for more and the judges giving the OCF First Place in the Fin Division. Hundreds of people visited our booth and picked up Bibles, tracts and devotional books. Thanks to all you who came by and visited. Congratulations cooking team!

THE OCF EXECUTIVE PRAYER INITIATIVE
The Executive Prayer Initiative started at the 2011 Houston Chapter Prayer Breakfast officially ended at this years breakfast as the goal was met to pray for over 1300 executives in the oil patches of North America for one year. Thanks go out to all of you who prayed for three people you may never meet until you get to Heaven. We won't know the whole story of how the prayers might have been answered, but rest assured God answers prayers.
